Welcome, Ruth. I know that having children of my own will reopen new doors to my child self that I have yet to imagine. I love what you have to say about reconnecting with nature, with coming back to the realization that we are children in the womb of this great earth. Thanks for reading!

And, Sister, it's called artistic license. Thanks be to all of the various gods and fairies and garden gnomes that I have you to keep me grounded in being eight. Who needs a teddy after all? Oh, wait, I do. And really, no recollection of the Gummi Bears theme song. I'm sure you can find them on YouTube somewhere...

Chubbles?! For real? S/he's in New Paltz? Tragic.

I am offended that you scoff at cartoons especially because you made me turn of Saved by the Bell to watch Tiny Toons.

You're lying to the internet community when you say that you lack affection for Inspector Gadget and Muppet Babies. And Gummi Bears! Come on! You dug it. Big time. You knew the theme song. I bet you still do.

Thankfully for your readers, I am here to spread the truth. What is epiphany when the road there is clouded with omissions of information.

Hi, I was surfing and came to this lovely story about how the imminent danger to a teddy bear brought on the vulnerability and love locked inside the "child-self", the self that is all about that sense of wonder, innocence and truth. Now maybe I didn't say it right but I am getting the beauty of this little story. Since I spend a lot of time these days with my grand daughter, now a tad over two years and since she is all about the wonder of discovery of the everything, I am being brought back to that time when the world was young and fresh. I think we all need to do this, to strip away at all the accumulated debris in our lives to get back to that sense of utter joy at the beauty and truth that is everywhere to be seen, in a rainbow, in a drop of dew, in the feel of sun, the unfolding of every rose...what's truly "divine"...to be a child again in the womb of earth.
